Imperial Oscietra Caviar 30g Description

We are proud to offer to you finest grade Imperial Osetra caviar of a quality that is very rare. Historically one could only obtain Imperial Osetra Caviar if you were a member of Russian royalty or the Shah of Iran, the reason being that this type of caviar was so highly praised then as it still is today. 

The eggs are 2-3mm in diameter. The egg colour can vary from a rich golden sheen into yellow and nutty brown.  When you gently press the egg a light yellow oil is produced. Oscietra caviar has a wonderful texture that is a bit firmer than beluga, coupled with a mellow buttery nutty flavor.

Oscietra caviar is taken from the oscietra sturgeon that grow to a weight of up to 200 Kg measuring 2m long. They can live up to 60 years and can start producing eggs from 12 years old.
